Election Day - Make a Voting Plan

  • Think ahead. Make a plan on how and when you can get to the polls.  Election Day is November 3, 7 am to 7 pm.
  • Do you know your polling place on Election Day?  If you have recently moved and have not updated your voter registration, you must go to the polling place where you are registered.
  • You must present a valid ID.  If you don't have a driver's license, you can use other valid IDs or a combination of IDs as long as one ID has your picture and one ID has your signature.
  • You have the right to ask for voting assistance if you have a disability, limited English-proficiency, or inability to read or write.
  • You have the right to vote with a provisional ballot in the unlikely event your name is not on the voter rolls. But use a provisional ballot as a last resort.
  • If you received a Vote By Mail ballot, you can still vote in person if you wish.  It's better to take your mailed ballot with you and turn it in, but not required.
