Amendment 3: Legalize marijuana for adults 21 years old and older
Amendment 4: Provide a constitutional right to abortion before fetal viability, which is estimated to be around 24 weeks, or when necessary to protect the patient's health, as determined by the patient's healthcare provider
Florida State Legislature initiatives on the ballot:
Amendment 1: Changes school board elections from nonpartisan to partisan beginning in the November 2026 general election and for primary elections nominating party candidates for the 2026 election
Amendment 2: Establishes a state constitutional right to hunt and fish
Amendment 5: Provide for an annual inflation adjustment for the value of the homestead property tax exemption

· Receive your ballot four weeks before an election.
· You have more time to learn about candidates and amendments.
Quick and Convenient:
· No need to take off from work or school.
· Eliminates waiting in line at the polls.
· Return ballot by mail - or deposit it in lock box at Early Voting locations during Early Voting times – or deposit at the Supervisor of Elections office during hours of operation, up to 7PM on Election Day.
Secure:
· Never miss an election.
· You can request that your ballot be sent to an alternate address (the US Post Office will not forward Vote By Mail Ballots).
· You can track your ballot’s progress and ensure that it is counted by signing up for BallotTrax at VoteManatee.gov.
Flexible:
· You have the option to not use your mailed ballot and instead Early Vote or vote at your poll on Election Day.
Note: All VBM enrollments expired at the end of 2022. New enrollment requests made now will be effective until 12/31/2024. Going forward, all VBM enrollments will be effective for one 2-year General Election cycle.
